Parking with license plate recognition
4411 is the largest parking app in Belgium and has partnerships with all kinds of major companies. The app started as a payment app for street parking, but evolved into a mobility app that enables so much more.
To also offer payment for off-street parking, 4411 partnered with Q-park, which owns more than 50 parking garages in Belgium. Those parking garages use license plate recognition to enter and exit. 4411 made an integration with Q-Park that allowed users to drive in and out without having to take a ticket or pass the payment terminal. Because the license plate is recognized, the app also receives the information about the parking session and payment is made automatically through the app. To launch this brand new functionality in the app, a campaign was created.
